2. Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger. According to the hosting dashboard, the origin server is configured in France. IP address, time, requested URL, referrer, browser, operating system and data volume may be processed to provide the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with Hostinger. Depending on enabled features, CDN, support, backup and subprocessors may be involved. Logs are erased or anonymised under the actually configured retention rules; longer retention is limited to a specific security/abuse case or a legal obligation.
3. Cookies and tracking
The site sets no first-party cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking service. No consent banner is therefore required.
4. Local media and external links
The video is served by this website. Ordinary links, for example to Amazon, Issuu, top.tirol, littletalks.fm or markuskirchmair.com, connect to the destination only after you actively open them. The destination provider’s privacy rules then apply.
5. Contact by email
When you email us, your address, message and necessary metadata are processed to handle the request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual/contractual matters and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The mailbox impressum@markuskirchmair.com is managed with Google Workspace. General inquiries are normally erased no later than twelve months after the last substantive reply unless contractual, evidentiary or statutory retention duties require longer storage.
6. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and may withdraw consent for the future. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in Austria the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
